Primary Problems

In my experience as a coach and getting to work with business owners I’ve found that most businesses have one or more of the following problems:

  • Most individuals who start a business are great salespeople, or a great technician and believe they can do a better job than their former employer. However, they may know little about marketing, or accounting, or leadership, or …, and the list goes on. As a result, some owners struggle to get their business to the next level.
  • Most business owners are too busy working in the day to day operations and are often overwhelmed. They may spend a lot of their time reacting to urgent issues that have been escalated to them because their team can’t/won’t deal with them. They typically do not have the time to invest in strategically building systems that will improve the business and give them back their freedom!
  • Most business owners struggle with holding their team members accountable and then having the difficult conversation when things go wrong. This often is because they had limited experience in leading people or few role models {good or bad} in this area. As a result, they lack a leadership process for these things.
  • Some business owners have become resistant or afraid of change. They may have tried some things in the past that didn’t work, or they can’t afford to waste time and resources on anything that may not work, so their decision-making process has been paralyzed and they tend to do nothing.
  • Most leadership training programs don’t work because they overwhelm the participant with lots of information in a very short time. It’s like trying to drink from a fire hose with a Dixie cup! And when the program is complete, they go back to the day-to-day demands of the business and much of this information is lost, never getting implemented. I believe the development of new habits and behaviors occurs over time. For anyone to be truly transformed they need to practice, implement, and be held accountable for these skills, behaviors, and habits over time.

Solution

MasterMind Business Coaching has developed a group coaching program for business owners who are looking to develop new skills, new habits, and transform themselves into more effective leaders.

This system is designed for all leaders in business who may be:

  • Small business owners,
  • Feeling overwhelmed, constantly fighting fires,
  • Who want inspiration, skills development and a new outlook on leadership, or
  • Are not sure that their current role is what they want

Session Details:

  • 8 bi-weekly group coaching sessions up to 2 hours in length.
  • Limited to 5-7 participants per group.
  • Each group consists of owners from different non-competing companies.
  • 2-hour sessions are threefold in nature and very interactive.
    • The teaching of new concepts and skills.
    • Accountability to learning and practicing these skills.
    • MasterMinding issues, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Homework is assigned and expected to be done during the off weeks.
  • Off-week coaching calls to each participant to enhance understanding and success.
